What is Community Music?

Community Music brings people together, using music as a tool for connection, inclusion, and social change. It goes beyond music-making – it fosters democracy, participation, equality, and empowerment, creating a space where every voice matters.

Community Music ensures that music is accessible to all, regardless of the artistic background or experience. There’s no need to read music or play an instrument—what matters is an open mind, the willingness to explore sound, creativity, and collaboration.

How I work

As a Community Musician, my mission is to promote cultural participation through inclusive and collaborative music-making. I believe that shared musical experiences have the power to inspire transformation, foster connection, and build a sense of belonging on both individual and collective levels. Whether through singing, songwriting, or community events, my goal is to create spaces where everyone feels empowered to express themselves through music.

Singing Circles – Bringing people together to share songs and melodies from different cultures, creating a sense of unity and joy.
Music Writing Labs – Co-creating new songs and musical pieces in an open, supportive, and creative space.
Event Planning – Helping communities organize concerts or pop-up events with a collaborative and inclusive approach.

This hands-on masterclass introduces the core principles and methods of Community Music through direct musical experience. Explore spontaneous music-making, improvisation, and co-creative processes—transforming a group into a spontaneous orchestra.
